Z-Prime II
Zehrung Brands

Interior/exterior fast dry water-based acrylic primer/sealer

Z-Prime II is a universal, water-based, high performance latex primer formulated without organic solvents.  Virtually free of volatile organic compounds (VOCs).  Z-Prime II does not contribute to indoor odors or outdoor air pollution.

Z-Prime II is ideal for use in hospitals, nursing homes, schools, office buildings, hotels, or any area where even mild paint odors could be a problem.  Based on an exclusive acrylic polymer system, Z-Prime II exhibits many of the dry-time and adhesion characteristics of quick-dry oil-based primers.  It dries super-fast, adheres to problem surfaces, sands readily within on hour, blocks most troublesome stains and cleans up with soap and water.

Works indoors and out on new wood, painted or varnished surfaces, drywall, plaster, hardboard, vinyl, aluminum, or clean galvanized metal.  Use under any conventional water- or oil-based top coat.

Great for kitchen cabinets.  Fast-dry, low-odor formula adheres to old gloss enamels.  Because Z-Prime II has cured when it's dry, it forms a tough, non-blocking film that can be sanded and top coated without worrying about the cure time related physical properties associated with most latex primers.

Blocks troublesome stains.  Reduces tannin bleed on cedar and redwood and locks in stains such as asphalt, creosote, lipstick, crayon, oil, grease, tea stains, most ball point and felt tipped marks and some light water stains.

The ideal undercoater for oil and latex enamels,  Z-Prime II adheres to glossy surfaces and provides the high holdout necessary to prevent variations in top coat sheen.  Sand and recoat in one hour.

Over and under wallcovering.  Sticks to vinyl, hides color and pattern of existing wallpaper.

Easy to use.  Easy to clean up.  Z-Prime II brushes easily, requires no special thinners and cleans up with warm soapy water.

Z-Prime II qualifies as a "low emitting wall coating" per Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) guidelines under development by several government agencies.*
